SUMMARY:Red/Blue Workshop
DESCRIPTION:What is a Red/Blue Workshop?\nAn equal number (5-8) of conservative-leaning citizens (“Reds”) and liberal-leaning citizens (“Blues”), and up to 40 observers, gather together for a half-day of moderated activities and structured discussions designed to reduce stereotyped thinking, clarify disagreements, build relationships and find common ground through listening and learning rather than declaring and debating. \nTwo moderators, trained by Braver Angels, lead the workshop, ensuring that ground rules are followed and that everyone is treated respectfully.\nWho can attend?\nAnyone interested in developing a deeper understanding of, and connection with, people whose political beliefs differ from their own is welcome. There are two ways to join a Red/Blue Workshop: as a Participant or an Observer.\n\nParticipants engage in group discussions with individuals of both the same and different political persuasions.
